What is NSR?

National Skills Registry (NSR) is a database of details of the IT Professionals (ITPs) as entered by an individual and background check information on the same. It includes personal, academic and employment details of individuals employed / to be employed (ITPs) in the IT and ITeS industry. Every ITP registered in NSR is identified uniquely by finger-prints. The database also have the photograph of the ITP.

What are the advantages for NSR Members:

· NSR Registration will be promoted as a benchmark standard for information security.

· Enhanced credibility of registered and verified information.

· No hassles of repeat background check for each employment.

· Transparent Background Verification Process.

· Deterrent for competing job applicants with inflated and bloated profiles.

· ITP will get an access to its profile and can update the same.

· Companies can view ITPs profile only with his/her permission.

· ITP (IT Professional) will know when companies authorised by him/her views the profile

NSR Facilities for IT Professionals”

· Self Registration

· Self Updation

· Showcase verified information to employer companies

· Request for self verification

· NSR ITPIN Card

Payment:

Charges payable by ITP for registering for and using NSR i.e. Registration fee of Rs. 300 (including first year usage fee) and Annual Usage Fee of Rs. 50 plus applicable Service Tax can be paid using Payment Gateway facility. Subsequent Annual Usage Fee can be paid for multiple years in advance as well, so that yearly payment is not required. The charges will be borne by the ITP.

ITP Registration

ITP must memorise his/her Login ID, Login & Transaction password and answer to hint question as recorded by ITP itself; these will be required for operating the profile after registration.

Enter correct email ID, as ITPIN and subsequent communications will be sent by email.

NSR system issues an acknowledgement number and generates a Web - Acknowledgement form for the ITP.

ITP needs to take a print of this form and submit to the Point of Service (POS) appointed by NDML for submitting finger-prints.

ITP makes payment of registration fee either by using credit card on payment gateway which is integrated on NSR website or by cash to the POS).

Fee for each ITP registration is Rs. 300 plus applicable Service Tax and includes first year of usage also.

ITP visits POS to complete its registration by submitting its finger-prints, photograph and signature. ITP needs to carry a valid proof of Photo Identity which will be verified by POS.

Documents accepted as Proof of Photo Identity are: Voter's ID Card, Passport, Driving License, Bank Pass book (if photo attached), College ID Card (not more than 1 year old), PAN Card, Employment Identity Card.

POS captures above data using software provided by NDML and uploads the same to NSR system.

NSR processes the information and allots a unique IT Professional Identification Number (ITPIN) to the ITP.

NSR creates a permanent profile for the ITP. If there are any changes in ITPs details, such as change in employment or address etc. These changes can be updated by the ITP. NSR central system checks for uniqueness based on bio-metrics. Multiple registrations by ITPs will be marked accordingly as duplicate.

kumble's interview ahead of srilankan tour

Anil Kumble, India's Test captain, has brushed off suggestions that the team may be distracted by the approaching milestone for Sachin Tendulkar, who needs 172 runs to surpass Brian Lara as the leading run-scorer in Tests. Kumble insisted the team's focus was on a series win.

"We always feel proud that one of our team-mates is going to cross a landmark," Kumble said. "Every time when there is an achievement, it's not for the individual only but also for the team.

"But, the most important factor is that we go there and ensure a series victory. That will be on top of everybody's mind," Kumble said. "I am sure that at some point of time, Sachin will cross the mark. It will be a huge achievement not just for him but also for Indian cricket. Sachin is confident. He has come back fully fit from groin injury. He is really fresh in mind and really confident."

Although India lost to Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup final recently, Kumble was confident of the Test team's prospects. "As a Test team we have really performed well, in that sense, we are pretty confident," he said. "In Test cricket, we have done exceptionally well in the last year or so. We have been consistent. I am sure we will be able to put up a good show and ensure a series win."

The umpire review system, where players can challenge the decision of the on-field umpires, will be tested for the first time during the series. "We are going to have a chat about it once we reach Sri Lanka with the officials," Kumble said. "We will see how it goes.

"From whatever I gather, it is the captain who takes the call," he said. "It all depends on what kind of a situation you are in. If it is a lbw decision, then what is important is what the wicketkeeper or the bowler feels because the captain might not be in a position to say whether it was close or worth having a go.

"It all depends on what happens on the field. It is difficult to say right now whether I am going to take the call or say that we will appoint one player to take the call on an issue."

Happy with the practice for the series, Kumble said, "We just followed our plans to spend a day in Chennai before we leave for Sri Lanka. Players have all had a camp in Bangalore for about a week. We have had eight days of training before going in to the Test match. By the time the Test match starts, I am sure the team will be well prepared."

India kick off the series with a three-day warm-up match against a Sri Lanka Board XI, which starts on Friday.

asif suspended....

Mohammad Asif has been suspended by the Pakistan board for testing positive for a banned substance during random drug tests conducted during the Indian Premier League. To make it worse for Asif, the Pakistan board has refused to assist him in the matter, though he has the right to appeal against the suspension. Asif has said he will ask for a testing of his B sample.

"Asif has been suspended until the drug tribunal of the IPL completes its inquiry," Shafqat Naghmi, the PCB's chief operating officer, said. "For the time being he is suspended from playing all forms of the game until further decision which includes the right of appeal."

The board also said it would go by the decision taken by the IPL's drug tribunal. "Since Asif competed in a tournament outside Pakistan, we will honour the findings of the IPL drug tribunal and will assist them if required," Naghmi said.

He also explained the PCB's decision to not provide assistance to Asif. "Our policy on dope offenders is very clear," he told The News. "The board will not provide any kind of help to Asif and he will have to fight his case himself. The player seems to be in a lot of trouble. A second drug offence means a life ban."

If he is left to fight for himself this time, it will signal a distinct change in the board's policy. In 2006, Asif and Shoaib Akhtar had their bans overturned after successfully appealing to an independent committee against the original punishments. Though they escaped on a technicality, it was widely speculated that the decision had the PCB's complicit support.

Asif, who said he was "shocked and surprised" at failing the test, has asked for his B sample to be examined. "We will fight the case because we believe that our client has not taken any drug so we will go for the B sample test and do whatever required to clear Asif's name," his lawyer Shahid Karim told AFP.

This is Asif's second drug offence since failing a dope test before the Champions Trophy in 2006, and the board has warned that a life ban is possible if he is found guilty. Last month he was detained in Dubai for 19 days under suspicion of possessing a contraband substance and is already the subject of a board inquiry into those events.

While the PCB has chosen to distance itself from the current controversy, it hasn't stopped former Pakistan cricketers from lashing out at its functioning. Aamer Sohail, a former captain, has blamed the board for not taking appropriate action against doping after Asif and Shoaib tested positive for Nandrolone, a banned substance, in 2006.

"My question is, what has the PCB done in this regard," Sohail told the News. "What measures did the board take since Asif and Shoaib Akhtar tested positive for banned drugs in 2006? Did they introduce dope testing in domestic cricket? The board has totally failed to handle things.

"The last two years have been the worst for Pakistan cricket and the situation will get worse if no action is taken."

The IPL had announced on Monday that Asif's sample was positive after comparing the result from the WADA-approved laboratory in Switzerland [that tested the samples] with the data collected by IDTM, the Sweden-based independent agency that organised the tests.

Asif played eight of the Delhi Daredevils' 15 matches in the IPL, taking eight wickets with an economy rate of 9.25

kamarajar's birth anniversary,,,,,,

kamaraj...also called the kingmaker..s one of my fav leaders and i beleive that noone like him can come again.....

He was involved in the Indian independence movement and was a close ally of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. He was instrumental in bringing to power two Prime Ministers, Lal Bahadur Shastri in 1964 and Indira Gandhi in 1966. He was affectionately known as the Gandhi of the South. In Tamil Nadu, his home state, he is still hailed for facilitating the spread of education to millions of the rural poor by introducing free education and free mid-day meals scheme in schools for the first time in the whole world during his chiefministership in 1957. He was awarded India's highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna, posthumously in 1976. The main airport in Chennai is today named Kamaraj airport in his honor. He was hailed as one of the greatest of politicians of all the free world by the then US vice-president Hubert Humphrey.

Kamaraj was born 15 July, 1903, to Kumarasamy Nadar and Sivakami Ammal at Virudhunagar near Madurai in Tamil Nadu. His parents were from a trading family. His real name was Kamakshi Kumaraswamy, but was affectionately shortened to Raja by his mother, Sivakami Ammal. His father, Kumarswamy Nadar, was a coconut merchant. Kamaraj was enrolled at the local elementary school, the Enadhy Nayanar Vidyalaya, and later shifted to the high school Kshatriya Vidyalaya.

Unfortunately his father died within a year of Kamaraj's enrollment in school. Kamaraj's mother sold all jewelry except her earrings and deposited the money with a local merchant and cared for the entire family on the monthly interest that the money earned.

On October 2, 1975, Gandhi Jayanti day, Kamaraj awoke from his afternoon nap feeling uneasy. His housekeeper, Vairavan, rang up his physician. While he was on his way out, Kamaraj said, "Vairavan, put out the lights when you go out." K. Kamaraj died that day in his sleep. He was honored with the highest civilian honour, the 'Bharat Ratna' posthumously in 1976.

Zaheer ---wisden cricketer of the year...

Zaheer Khan has been felicitated on being a named one of the Five Cricketers of the Year by Wisden Cricketer's Almanack.

In a short ceremony in Bangalore, Rahul Dravid presented Zaheer with a leather-bound copy of the Wisden 2008. Zaheer was recognised by Wisden as "the Indian left-armer who ended England's six-year sequence of being unbeaten in home Test series". Zaheer ended the three-Test series with 18 wickets at 20.33 and his 9 for 134 was instrumental in their victory in Nottingham, a win that set up the 1-0 triumph.

Zaheer said the award was a true reflection of his efforts in the last year. He said that while he was not a great reader of cricket books he had been inspired after reading The Art of Fast Bowling by his childhood idol Dennis Lillee. "Apart from Lillee, I have followed Glen McGrath, Allan Donald and Wasim Akram."

Dravid cited Zaheer's performances as one of the chief reasons for India's successes in England and South Africa. "Zaheer's performance in England and the whole of the last year was truly exceptional," he said. "He led the attack really well and that was critical to me as the captain. I could just throw the ball to him and I knew he would run in and lead the attack well.

"I still remember the Test match we won in Trent Bridge," he said off the match remembered for Zaheer getting fired up after seeing some jellybeans on the pitch. "The game was on a knife-edge: Michael Vaughan had just scored a hundred and they [England] were just behind us. We needed a wicket as chasing anything more than 150-160 last would have been tough task on that Trent Bridge wicket.

"We needed some one to stand up and be counted. We took the new ball and Zaheer responded - he took three wickets in that spell which ensured that we won that Test match and the series. It's a just reward for some one who started off with such promise in 2000 but had to endure injuries on the way. He has worked hard and is fighting back. India's success depends on how well Zaheer does.

"After Javagal Srinath, he has taken the mantle of leading the Indian attack. With a good new group of young bowlers coming through, Zaheer has an added responsibility to lead the attack for the next three years. I wish him all the best and hope he takes care of the injuries as he has all the talent and the nous required of a strike bowler."

Wisden chose Ian Bell, Ryan Sidebottom and Ottis Gibson and Shivnarine Chanderpaul alongside Zaheer for their outstanding achievement during the English season of 2007.

Tendulkar set to return!!!

It s now almost certain that sachin tendulkar will make his ipl dedut against the chennai super kings and he ll leading his mumbai indians side....The news is a shot in the arm for Mumbai who played the first half of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the absence of Tendulkar, forced to sit out due to groin injury.

But Tendulkar announced today that the rehabilitation process had been successful and there was no "discomfort" and that he would open Mumbai's innings along with Sanath Jayasuriya.

"I will be playing on May 14. It's looking very good and I'm feeling very positive," Tendulkar said after a two-hour long batting session at the Wankhede Stadium. He said it was really "tough" for him to sit out but acknowledged the support of the fitness staff who had "really worked hard, especially the physio and the masseur".

Tendulkar first picked up the injury during the CB Series in Australia and it got worse after the first Test against South Africa in Chennai, forcing him to miss the final two matches of the series. He was unable to recover for the start of the IPL, missing Mumbai's first seven games.

Though Mumbai lost their first four games, Tendulkar was careful not to return before he was completely fit. "It was disappointing to miss the two Tests against South African and then seven IPL games. But during the first half of the rehabilitation I had to completely rest and followed it by strengthening of the muscles and working out a bit. With the help of the fitness staff all the things went fine and I'm feeling strong now and there is no discomfort."

In his absence Harbhajan Singh led Mumbai for the first three games and after he was banned for an on-field row with Sreesanth, Shaun Pollock came in as the stand-in captain. Asked if it would be difficult for the side to have another new captain especially when Pollock was proving to be successful, Tendulkar said the players had supported each other through it all and they understood each other well.

"I will be the captain. Shaun was a makeshift captain and he did a terrific job and the other senior players have also contributed well. It's not about who the captain is but it's about helping each other and that's what Mumbai Indians have been doing and will continue to do."

Despite his minimal exposure to the Twenty20 format - he has played only five games so far - Tendulkar was looking ahead to the challenge ahead. "I always try hard and I've always given my best." Mumbai are currently placed sixth in the points table, just above the Deccan Chargers and the Bangalore Royal Challengers.

10 Little Things you can do for the Environment

1. Use a glass when brushing your teeth. Every year, billions of liters of fresh water is wasted by simply not using a glass when brushing your teeth.

2. Don't use straws. They say the straw is the most stupid invention. They are unnecessary and only add to our waste problem.

3. Say NO to plastics when shopping. Bring your own reusable bags when doing your grocery, or when buying single items like books or cd's, a plastic bag, or even a paper bag is unnecessary.

4. Turn off the lights. When there is ample daylight or when no one is in the room. You not only save on electricity, you also lower temperature as light gives off heat.

5. Walk. Take the stairs. Or car pool or take public transportation. You not only lower your carbon gas emissions, you are also doing your heart good when you walk regularly.

6. Unplug cell phone chargers after use. As well as all unused electronic appliances. Some appliances use more electricity even when not in use. Microwave oven with timers uses more electricity on stand by mode the entire day than when you cook dinner with it.

7. Use both sides of the paper. And make sure to recycle it after. You not only lessen your wastes but you also help stop the unnecessary cutting of more trees.

8. Turn off shower when soaping. And make sure to avoid long and frequent showers. Showering three times a day not only uses precious fresh water, but also creates more waste water that goes into our rivers and lakes. It dries your skin too.

9. Never burn anything. Burned resources are lost forever. Burning also releases harmful substances into the atmosphere. Reduce and reuse always. Compost and recycle what you can.

10. Tell your friends about this. Spread the word, and together we can make a difference

THINGS YOU NEVER KNEW YOUR CELLPHONE COULD DO

There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies.

Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for

survival. Check out the things that you can do with it: -

1

EMERGENCY

*The Emergency Number worldwide for **Mobile**is112...* If you find

yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and there is an

emergency, dial 112and the mobile will search any existing network to

establish the emergency number for you,and interestingly this number 112

can be dialed even if the keypad is locked.
**Try it out.**

2

Have you locked your keys in the car? Does you car have remote keys?

This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone:

If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call

someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone.

Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person

at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on

their end. Your car will unlock.
Saves someone from having to drive your

keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away,

and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you

can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

3

Hidden
Batterypower

Imagine your cell battery isvery low, you are expecting animportant call

and you don't have a charger.Nokia instrument comes with a reserve

battery.
To activate, press the keys *3370# Your cell will restart with

this reserve and the instrument will show a50% increase in battery. This

reserve will get charged when you charge your cell next time.

AND

4

How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?

To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on your phone:

* # 0 6 #

A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your

handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. when your phone get

stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They

will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the

SIM card, your phone will be totally useless.

You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either.

If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

If you are a Dog: A very loyal and sweet person. Your loyalty can never be doubted. You are quite honest and sincere when it comes to your attitude towards working. You are a very simple person, indeed. Absolutely hassle free, humble and down-to-earth!! That explains the reason why your friends cling on to you! You have a good taste for clothes. If your wardrobe is not updated with what is trendy, you sure are depressed. Popular and easy-going. You have a little group of dignified friends, all of them being quality-personified.

If you are a Mouse: Always up to some sort of a mischief! The mischievous gleam in your eyes is what makes you so cute and attractive to everyone. You are an extremely fun-to-be-with kind of person. No wonder, people seek for your company and look forwa rd to include you for all get-together. However, you are sensitive, which is a drawback. People need to select their words while talking to you. If someone tries to fiddle around and play with words while dealing with you, it is enough to invite your wrath. God bless the person then!

If you are a Lion: Quite contradictory to your name, you are a peace loving person. You best try to avoid a situation wherein you are required to fight. An outdoor person, you dislike sitting at one place for a long duration. You are a born leader, and have it in you how to tactfully derive work from people. You love being loved, and when you receive your share of limelight from someone, you are all theirs!!!! Well, well... hence some people could even take an advantage, flatter you to the maximum and get their work done. So be careful.....

If you are a Cat: An extremely lovable, adorable pe rson, sometimes shy, with a passion for quick wit. At times, you prefer quietness. You love exploring various things and going into depth of each thing. Under normal circumstances you're cool, when given a reason to, you are like a volcano waiting to erupt. You're a fashion bird. People look forward to you as an icon associated with fashion. Basically, you mingle along freely but don't like talking much to strangers. People feel very easy in your company. You observe care in choosing your friends.

If you are a Turtle: You are near to perfect and nice at heart. The examples of your kindness are always circulated in groups of people. You, too, love peace. You wouldn't like to retaliate even to a person who is in the wrong. You are loved due to this. You do not wish to talk behind one's back. People love the way you always treat them. You can give, give and give love, and the best part is that you do not expect it back in return.Y ou are generous enough.Seeing things in a practical light is what remains the best trait of you guys.

If you are a Dove: You symbolize a very happy-go-lucky approach in life.Whatever the surroundings may be, grim or cheerful, you remain unaffected. In fact, you spread cheer wherever you go. You are the leader of your group of friends and good at consoling people in their times of need. You dislike hypocrisy and tend to shirk away from hypocrites. They can never be in your good books, no matter what. You are very methodical and organized in your work. No amount of mess, hence, can ever encompass you. Beware, it is easy for you to fall in love....

If you are a Panther: You are mysterious. You are someone who can handle pressure with ease, and can handle any atmosphere without going berserk. You can be mean at times, and lo ve to gossip with your selected group. Very prim and proper. You like all situations and things to be in the way you desire, which, sometimes is not possible. As a result, you may lose out in some relationships. But otherwise, you love to help people out from difficult and tight spots when they really need you.

If you are a Monkey: Very impatient and hyper!!! You want things to be done as quickly as possible. At heart, you are quite simple and love if you are the center of attraction. That way, you people are unique. You would like to keep yourself safe from all the angles. Shall your name be dragged or featured in any sort of a controversy, you then go all panicky. Therefore, you take your precautions from the very beginning. When you foresee anything wrong, your sixth sense is what saves you from falling in traps.

Bravo replaces malinga for mumbai indians....

Dwayne Bravo, the West Indies allrounder, will be joining the Mumbai Indians squad to replace the injured Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga.

Lalchand Rajput, Mumbai's coach, confirmed that Bravo was the unanimous choice of the "few" names discussed by the team think-tank. "The decision to pick Bravo was a collective decision," he told Cricinfo.

Malinga, recovering from a knee injury that he picked during the CB Series in Australia, and, had to miss the Caribbean tour but was confident last week he would be fit to join the Mumbai squad. But Rajput said "we got a report that his recovery might take a further two to three weeks. So we decided to have a back-up".

Charl Langeveldt, the South African pace bowler was amongst the names discussed but Bravo nosed ahead by virtue of being an allrounder. "We wanted an allrounder and not another regular bowler", Rajput said of the outcome of the team meeting that took place on Thursday. Bravo will be the fourth West Indies player to feature in the IPL joining Shivnaraine Chanderpaul, Chris Gayle and Ramnaresh Sarwan.

Bravo would only be available for short period before he returns home for the Australia series but the Mumbai team management felt they could extract the most out of him before he heads back. Bravo will also miss Mumbai's opening game against the Bangalore Royal Challengers at home as he arrives only on Sunday but will get to be part of seven of their 14 league matches before he heads back home on May 14. "We know he would be returning on May 15 but by then we would have played most of our games."

While confirming the signing, Reliance, owners of the Mumbai team, did not disclose the price they had offered him. A sum in the range of US $200-250,000 wouldn't be amiss considering his international record. Bravo may not have a good Twenty20 record - he averages 11 in seven Twenty20 games and has just two wickets at 55 - but he could light up the show like he did in the first game of the ODI series against Sri Lanka recently, grabbing four wickets and playing a handy cameo as an opener.

Bravo's late call-up means that he misses out on Trinidad & Tobago's Carib Beer Challenge match against Jamaica, starting on April 24. The development was confirmed by Trinidad's manager, Colin Borde, who said the experience of playing in the IPL would be beneficial for Bravo.

Wisden Cricketers' Almanack 2008

The Wisden Cricketers' Almanack 2008 has been published.

It is a nice touch. The features throughout are extremely well written. The detail, of course, is unsurpassed. The attention to accuracy by Berry and his "disciples" as he calls his assistant editors in an allusion to the book's supposed Biblical command, is impressive. Where else but in Wisden would be printed this errata: "Oxford UCCE's 2007 captain, PJW Young, attended Wellington College." He had had the misfortune to be listed as having gone to the less prestigious Wellington School, which, as followers of Jeffrey Archer's career will know, can be easily muddled up.

The conundrum that Berry, and indeed all newspaper editors and columnists face is: how to tackle the IPL, the ICL, and the seemingly inexorable growth of Twenty20? Not only is Berry's market one that, on the whole, will not take willingly to this form of the game, he himself will be challenged by its brashness: what Glamorgan's equally erudite scorer, Dr Andrew Hignell, calls "an indictment of our society". One or two cricket writers may enjoy watching Twenty20, but few relish reporting it. What is there to be said about a match-winning 13 not out?

Berry, rather like the old leader writer in the Times, when it came to assessing the crucifixion, tries hard to be fair. "I am not against Twenty20," he writes, and he makes the pertinent comment that "the joyless and long-winded" 50-over World Cup last year played into the hands of the IPL and ICL organisers, but there is a sting at the end of his editor's notes: "In the course of time, what 20-over cricket lacks - if only a change of tempo - will become ever more apparent, by comparison with Test cricket."

So to the content of the other articles. Mike Brearley, who in his speech at the dinner to launch Wisden was as fair-minded towards developments in India as he was towards Kerry Packer's World Series Cricket 30 years ago, writes illuminatingly about Bedi's deception in his bowling. Paul Newman of the Daily Mail contributes a long and highly detailed account of the mystery surrounding the death of Bob Woolmer, concluding that for the jury to return an open verdict after a long inquest was "the worst possible verdict - because it means we just do not know whether he had his life taken from him or simply succumbed naturally to the stresses inherent in his very demanding job". Strangely enough, the inquest itself last autumn received little media attention by comparison with the deluge of comment when Woolmer died.

Pat Collins, in his review of the year's books, has no time at all for Duncan Fletcher's autobiography - or, perhaps more to the point, Fletcher himself. "The Wisden Forty," an account of the leading 40 players in the world during 2007, is an article too many.

latest from kuselan!!! kamal in kuselan???

'Kuselan' is the remake of the Malayalam chart buster film 'Katha Parayumbol' that starred Mammootty and Srinivasan in the lead roles. The Tamil remake would be a little different from the Malayalam original in the sense of the songs as well as some addition to the scenes.

Yes, it is true! We have heard about actor Prabhu essaying a very vital role in this superstar's film. Now there is one more 'mighty' addition to the star cast and Kamal Haasan too will be seen along with Rajinikanth in this multi-starrer film.
Reports also indicate that Kamal will be seen shaking a leg with the superstar apart from a scene where the two Kollywood supremos would be seen together.

The long list of actresses appearing for a song in Superstar Rajinikanth starrer ‘Kuselan’ is still growing, with Trisha and Flora being the latest additions.

According to sources, Flora, who is facing a ban in Kollywood following her alleged involvement in the US visa forgery racket is shaking legs for a peppy number in the Telugu version of the film.

Suja, the item number specialist of Kollywood is doing the number in Tamil while Trisha, Sneha and Mamta Mohandas are also there.

sourav's best test knock..in kanpur!!

Sourav chandidas Ganguly has accepted that this knock of 87 is one of his best knocks in test cricket. It was so spl for him bcoz it came on a difficult track and also in a difficult situation.Sourav Ganguly's 87 today on a Kanpur minefield can safely join the company. And the man himself rates this as one of his best efforts. "Considering the surface and context, this is definitely one of my top Test knocks," was his summary after a gripping day's play.
When he was walking out in the afternoon he must have crossed Rahul Dravid almost writhing in pain, throwing away his arm guard after being hit by Morne Morkel on the right wrist, but the way he batted it didn't seem the pitch bothered him at all. And Ganguly would be lying if he said it didn't. "The odd ball would bounce and go through the top, and that is not in my control. These are the pitches where how you think matters. You may get out to a normal delivery as well. You cannot worry about the ball, if it goes through the top it does.
He also said he was "very" disappointed he did not get the century he so thoroughly deserved. But the way he got out was exactly what the situation required. Three wickets had fallen rather quickly to bring the tail in; the first, that of a reckless Dhoni, triggering the collapse when India were 17 runs away from South Africa's 265 and 3.5 overs away from facing the new ball.

how to gain weight--part 2

Don’t fill up on low-calorie foods
• Limit plain coffee, tea, clear soup, diet drinks or
raw, bulky vegetables. These fill you up but don’t
give you the calories that you need.
If you get tired easily, use quick
and easy foods
• Buy ready-to-eat meals and foods such as TV
dinners (not the light brands). Try pre-cooked
foods from the deli or salad bars at the grocery
store.
• Buy “instant” cereals, soups, hot cocoa package
mixes, noodle and rice mixes to which you just
add hot water.
• Order food by phone and have it delivered.
• Cook meals in advance and freeze them in single
portions.
Choose high-calorie foods
Fats are high in calories
• Add butter, margarine, mayonnaise, salad
dressing, cream cheese, oil, gravy, sour cream,
cool whip, whipping cream and cream sauces to
recipes and foods.
• Fry or deep-fry foods in fat for extra calories.
Sugar
• Add sugar, honey or jam to your drinks and
foods.
• Try adding non-alcoholic drink mixes such as
pina colada to ice-cream or milk shakes.
Snacks
• Try cheese and crackers, raisin toast with
margarine or peanut butter, raisins and dried
fruit, peanuts, sunflower seeds, almonds, “trail
mix”, granola, olives, avocado pear, coconut,
hard-cooked eggs, sandwiches, milk shakes or
sweetened juice.
• Dip fruits in a mixture of sour cream and honey.
Desserts
• Choose ice cream, frozen yogourt, regular fruit
yogourt, cheese with fruit, custards and
puddings. To these desserts add chocolate chips,
coconut, nuts, granola or cream.
• Foods as shown in Canada’s Food Guide to
Healthy Eating should always be the main part of
your meals, but you can also have some high
calorie desserts and sweets such as cakes, cookies,
pies, donuts, chocolates, candies and soft drinks.

How to gain weight ??

Eat often
• Eat small, nutritious meals often; try five small
meal-snacks a day.
• Set an alarm to remind yourself to eat.
• Have a full meal at the time of day when your
appetite is best.
• Have a snack before you go to bed at night.
• Keep nutritious, high calorie snacks where you
can see them and reach them easily.

Slowly increase your food
• It will take your body some time to get used to the
extra food. Slowly increase how often and
how much you eat. There are a lot of ideas in this
handout, try a couple every few days. On
different days you will want different foods.
After some time, you may be able to eat a high
calorie meal as shown on the last page.

Have protein at every meal
• Protein includes cheese, eggs, poultry, fish, meat,
peanut butter, nuts, brown beans and lentils.
• If your appetite for meat is poor, serve it cold and
sliced.
• Try cold sliced turkey on buttered bread or
crackers, cheese chunks in salads, or peanut butter
on apple slices.
• Add canned white beans or kidney beans to soup
or casseroles.
• Chopped boiled egg can be added to casseroles or
salads. Add an extra 1 or 2 eggs when making
pancakes, cakes or muffins.
• Swirl a beaten egg into soup or into macaroni and
cheese while it is cooking.
• Add grated cheese to soups, tacos, lasagna and
ravioli.
• Add milk powder to soups, stews, casseroles,
mashed potatoes, cereals and scrambled eggs. Or
add a package of unflavoured gelatin into your
soup, juice or milk.

Deep sea creatures!!!

Deep sea creatures are fish and other creatures that live down in the deepest part of the ocean. It is very cold down at the bottom and there is no sunlight only the light produced by the some of the creatures. Almost every deep sea creature has a cell in their body that makes a light.

If a deep-sea fish or creature from the bottom of the ocean to the twilight zone is brought up to the surface, their organs and eyes will explode and they will die. Fish of the deep-sea have a light that they produce from a cell in there body. The light that they produce is a greenish-yellow color.

Some of the deep sea cretures are shown below.

The Glass Squid

Giant Isopod

Chimeras

Angler Fish
